Who We Are
ScentAurum LLC is an international trading company headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. Together with ScentAurum Bangladesh, our locally incorporated entity in Dhaka, we maintain an established presence in both Japan and Bangladesh — with on-the-ground capabilities in sourcing, quality inspection, export procedures, local partnerships, and market research, supported by export and transport licenses and documentation such as CITES and phytosanitary certificates. Through the import and export of carefully selected goods, the development of reliable supply chains, and hands-on trade consulting, we aim to be a trusted partner for the businesses we work with. Building on this foundation, we are expanding our trade network across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Our Businesses
We import, select, and sell natural agarwood sourced through trusted relationships in Bangladesh and other parts of South and Southeast Asia. Our selection ranges from highly resinous collector-grade agarwood to distinctive pieces valued for their natural form, serving collectors, connoisseurs, and trade partners — in accordance with applicable CITES requirements.
The Sylhet region of Bangladesh is one of the country's leading tea-producing areas. Through direct relationships with local gardens, we import high-quality tea together with a range of herbal teas. We work with restaurants, retailers, businesses, and private customers seeking distinctive products from Bangladesh.
We export reliable Japanese used vehicles and vessels to Bangladesh, supported by our operations and local networks in both countries. From sourcing and inspection in Japan to export procedures, ocean freight, and customs clearance in Bangladesh, we coordinate the process across both countries.
Drawing on practical experience from our own trading activities and our presence in both Japan and Bangladesh, we support companies and individuals doing business with Bangladesh. Our services include market research, feasibility support, supply-chain planning, sourcing assistance, and introductions to local partners.
Our Brands
VOW&TEIS — a luxury brand bringing sculptural pieces of natural agarwood into contemporary life. Zuigendo (瑞玄堂) — a specialist house dedicated to the traditional culture, appreciation, and heritage of fragrant wood. Both brands are currently in development.
